Salary Level:  Grade 6- Minimum $9.55 

There is a job opening in the Police Department for a Police/Fire Dispatcher.  Duties include receiving calls and information from public concerning police emergencies and broadcast orders to suitable units to investigate, operate municipal fire alarm system, radio transmitter and receiver, and telephone switchboard.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to type and have computer knowledge.

Certified by State of Missouri on Mules system.  (If not certified must be within six months of employment.)
