A boil water advisory has been issued for West Main St. from Missouri Ave. to Arkansas Ave.; on Arkansas Ave. from West Main to Broadway; On the south side of Cass Ave. in the 1000 block from Arkansas to Nebraska Ave.; and in addition, a few businesses on Broadway are also affected.

Welcome to West Plains
The Ozark Heritage Welcome Center is located at 2999 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains, Missouri . The Southern Missouri Home Builder's Association realized the economic impact that tourism has on an economy and decided to build the information center and donate it to the community. Since opening in April 1997, the Center has tracked over 100,000 visitors. The Center provides free maps, brochures and vacation planners for West Plains, the surrounding region and other states. Other services include a RV dump station, picnic tables, free coffee, soda machines, and clean restrooms.
